 Confirmation

Confirmation is part of a Spiritual Journey.

Candidates are prepared over a period of 6 months.

Before young people are confirmed, the family will have a pastoral visit by a member of the Ministry Team to establish whether the candidate still wishes to go forward with Confirmation.

Before Confirmation, a regular member of the congregation will be invited to be a Sponsor.

All preparation needs to encourage the candidates to have involvement in the Church Life with worship at the centre.

Adult candidates, like young people, will experience a period of preparation based on the rich variety of material available to us. All courses must aim at giving the candidates vision and commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church.

The names of those confirmed will be held on a database at the Team Office.
